In the 1986 film ‘Crocodile Dundee,’ his hit role came as Mick, which earned Hogan a Golden Globe award. Hogan’s rise to stardom saw him reprise the movie in 1988 and 2001, grossing over $500 million. The humorous producer and actor is also a stand-up comedian with several noteworthy performances.

The multi-talented artist began his career early in the 1960s as a comedian and entertainer when his first comedy album became an overnight hit. Since then, Newhart has entertained us with over a hundred feature films, television series and shows, and comedy albums. His distinguished career was covered on 'American Masters: Bob Newhart Unbuttoned on PBS.'
The entertainer received a lifetime achievement award in 2015, after having released the entire series of his popular show 'The Bob Newhart Show' on DVD the year before. Today, the star continues to grace our screens by appearing on 'CBS's' 'The Big Bang Theory.'

Bob Barker – Born in 1923 – The Price Is Right

Many things come to mind when one hears the word "tenacity." For us, one of those things is Bob Barker. He hosted the longest-running daytime show in North America's television history, 'The Price is Right,' for thirty-five years. Hats off to the man who won nineteen Emmy Daytime Entertainment Awards but kept his hat on his head by simply being modest about it.
Barker's official retirement was in 2007, but it wasn't till 2015 that he decided to have a real break. Before then, he made two guest appearances on 'The Price.' We love his style of relaxing in old age, which involves watching old military-related movies from a comfy chair.
Barbara Eden – 1931 – I Dream Of Jeannie

The talented Barbara Eden was born in 1931 and has been acting since 1950. Along with acting, Eden is also a singer and producer who appeared in the famous sitcom ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ and ‘Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.’ In 1988, Eden was honored with a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, which is every celebrity’s dream.
Later in her career, she wrote a memoir called ‘Jeannie Out of the Bottle,’ where she talked about her early childhood, acting career, and some personal challenges she faced throughout her life, including her three marriages and the loss of her son.

This is the amazing Dame Angela Lansbury. From 1943 to date, she has starred in at least 112 productions, making her one of the most decorated stars.
Dame's acting skills are just the tip of the iceberg as she is an accomplished singer. Her skills have been showcased in numerous musicals, and her project Bedknobs and Broomsticks was recently adapted into a theatrical release. Sadly, due to her advanced age, among other things, Dame retired in 2019.
Connie Stevens – 1938 – Hawaiian Eye

1959 proved to be a lucky year for Connie Stevens. The role of Cricket Blake in the 1959 'Warner Bros.' series 'Hawaiian Eye' brought her fame and applause. In the same year, Stevens hit a jackpot for her music career too, with the single 'Sixteen Reasons,' which charted at number three in the 'Billboard Hot 100' chart.
Stevens was not only a star on screen, but her performances in Broadway productions and nightclubs garnered her much love and appreciation. She started her brand for skincare products in the '90s and dabbled in direction too. Age is no bar for this evergreen beauty who still makes appearances in movies.
Max Baer Jr. – 1937 – The Beverly Hillbillies

Known for the role of Jethro Bodine, the gullible nephew of Jed Clampett on 'The Beverly Hillbillies,' Max Baer Jr. is quite an interesting personality. Suffering from typecasting after the role that brought him fame, he took it upon himself to reinvent himself on screen. Along with acting, he also started producing, directing, and writing.
Baer Jr.'s first production, the 1974 film 'Macon County Line,' held the record for the most profitable film for 25 years. His next successful work was 'Ode to Billy Joe,' where he was credited as a director. After releasing his last directed movie in 1979, Baer Jr. started focusing on the gambling industry. In spite of numerous problems, the tenacious actor has not given up on his dream of building a 'Beverly Hillbillies'-themed casino.

This American legend made his debut in the TV series 'Have Gun-Will Travel' in 1958. Born William Martin Gulager, Clu's father awarded him his nickname after seeing the clu-clu bird perched at his birthing room's window. We suspect the bird was a good omen because Clu's life seems fated for stardom!
His first proper break came in 1962 when he scored a leading role in 'The Virginian.' He was in the main cast for the entire run of nine seasons. His success refused to wane as he picked up continuous roles. The legend has been seen acting in Hollywood blockbusters as recently as 2019's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.'
Ali MacGraw – 1939 – Love Story

Ali MacGraw stole the scene in the summer of 1970 with her leading role in the Academy Award-nominated film 'Love Story.' This American beauty graced the big screen sporadically until her last onscreen role in 1997.
The 82-year-old recently left her retirement for a special onscreen reunion with her former 'Love Story' co-star Ryan O'Neal. So naturally, we were all pleased when we saw the ageless beauty grace the screen again. Despite not being a working actor anymore, her life seems filled with everything a starlet deserves. Perhaps we're being greedy, but we would not mind watching her take over the screen again.

Bern Nadette Stanis is proof that there is life after Hollywood. She was long-running TV series 'Good Times' in the 1970s. Bern portrayed Thelma for the six-season runs. She was renowned as the first African-American teenage girl to star in a sitcom. Her role put her on the map and set the young Bern for a life in the limelight.
Since she left the silver screens of the '70s, she continued to star in various popular TV shows until she left the industry altogether. However, Bern is not one to stay dormant for long. The former actress wrote and published four successful books. So we, for one, are excited to see Bern reunite with her former sitcom co-stars!

Born in 1934, Sophia is one of the last stars left from Hollywood's golden age. This Oscar-winning actress truly made a name for herself and managed to extend her 15 minutes in the limelight to last a lifetime. With her recent role as Madame Rosa in 'The Life Ahead,' Sophia shows no sign of stopping anytime soon.

Jack Nicholson is a famous actor who played memorable characters in well-known movies, such as ‘The Shining,’ ‘Something’s Gotta Give,’ and ‘Terms of Endearment.’ Nicholson was born in 1937 in New Jersey and was actively acting from 1955 to 2010 before he retired due to some health issues that affected his acting abilities.
Regardless, Nicholson’s acting skills didn’t go in vain as he won multiple awards, including the Academy Award for Best Actor, which he won twice. Even though he has retired, he is still considered one of the greatest actors of all time, and we’ll always be grateful for his work.

Honestly, it sounds weird until you experience it first hand.
Luckily, the talent is still as active as ever with more credits still rolling in his IMDB page. In the 2022 Oscars, the presenters recounted the history surrounding the success of Robby's film. His performance was a cornerstone in clinching the animation to be the first to be nominated for 'Best Film' in the awards ceremony.
Paige O'Hara – 1956 – Beauty and the Beast

Another actress to bless our childhood is the amazing Paige O'Hara, who voiced 'Belle' in the animated classic Beauty and the Beast. The voice actors in this movie didn't come to play, and Paige did such a fantastic job you can still watch the film today and feel the magic.
Aside from voice acting, Paige is an accomplished theatre artist with various credits to her name. Showbiz is her second name, and despite her advanced age, our good lady continues to wow us in one way or another. In 2007 the movie Enchanted had Paige voicing one of the central characters, and it's safe to say this woman still got it.

Lynn wrote 'Coal Miner's Daughter' and 'Still Woman Enough,' two powerful autobiographies that capture her life story. Just like Hamilton, this star is still very passionate about her work, and released her 50th album in 2021, at the age of 89! Lynn sure is 'woman enough' and doesn’t fail to prove it.
Lee Meriwether- 1935- Love and Debt

While Lee Meriwether was a TV/Theater arts major in college, it is surprising to know that she was a pageant queen. She won the titles of Miss San Francisco, Miss California, and Miss America successively. Lee is famously known for her role as Betty in the 'CBS' series 'Barnaby Jones' but also had other successful series. On the big screen, she famously played Cat Woman in the original ‘Batman' movie and as a wise boss in 'Love and Debt.'
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as they say, Both her daughters are in the acting world, and they have had the luck of working on several projects together.

Her last performance was in 1997, and she hasn’t sung a note since. The reason for stepping away was to focus on her husband and sons, as she was nearly aged 50 years by then.
